| I am a diamond supporting a house made of glass,
They say i'll be forever but i don't know how long i'll last.
I use all my might to keep things together,
I hope i have the strength to do this forever.
But every once in awhile a storm comes through,
And when my house starts to shift i must move too.
I'll hold up the weak spots where ever they may be,
Even if my house doesn't notice it's me.
One day i might fail and it'll all fall to the ground,
And i will be left standing alone looking around.
I know my house is glass and so extremely fragile,
And at times it may seem not worth all the hassle to prevent a pile.
But i will hold this house with every ounce of me,
Because the house i speak of is my family. | |
