IN A CITY OF TERROR
WITH MOCKERS
AND ENEMIES
I STAND FIRM
AND FIGHT THE BATTLES TO STAY ALIVE
AS I GO THROUGH A MAIZE
WITH TORTURE
AND PAIN
I LIVE MY LIFE TO THE FULLEST
AS I REACH MY HANDS
TO TOUCH THE STARS
I MAKE A LOUD CRY
WITH MOANING INSIDE
BUT LORD GUIDE ME
KEEP AND BLESS
MY SOUL
AND MAKE IT REST
BUT ITS MORE THAN THIS
MORE SYMBOLIC
IN TRUTH ITS JUST THE FEELING
THAT LAY DEEP WITHIN

i dnt understand the mood of this poem xplain what goin on please

The mood of this poem is pain & hurt. The city is significant to the world and it consists of people who pretends that their on the same page with you or their your friend when they're really not. You have to be brave to face obstacles in life and be strong as people may get you down. The maize is significant to life,with torture and pain . You have to live it to the best of your ability and at the end of the day when you feel like giving up or breaking down,all that feeling is still left within you.
